All my frames are hand cut, joined, assembled and decorated by me in my home based studio using quality materials from quality suppliers.
Each piece is hand made and involves different processes but to put it simply it is as follows:-
The first step involves choosing a frame molding which is then cut to size either using my guillotine or a hand miter saw.
The frame is then joined using a manual underpinner and wood glue or occasionally by hand, using glue and nails.
If a mat (or mount board) window is required, then that is cut using my manual mat cutter and glass or Plexiglass is cut to size and assembled in the final framing package. Hanging hardware is attached to the back.

*There are several glass options including Standard, Tru Vue Conservation Clear (which has a high UV light protection and will protect your precious photos over time) as well as 98% museum grade Plexiglass which is ideal for larger projects, children's rooms and for travel due to it's higher flexibility making it less prone to breakage.

Depending on what the final product is to be, there are many processes to go through to get to the end result - involving lots of tape, blades, glue, drilling, measuring, hammering, cutting, printing, 'elbow grease', paint, sanding etc etc.

My aim is to produce a quality hand made product and to have satisfied customers!
